Police spotted the taxis – all private hire vehicles – parked on the lines in Stone town centre yesterday evening, Saturday March 7.
It follows a number of complaints about the way taxis parked in the town.
In the early hours of this morning a Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Four private hire taxis were reported for parking on zig zags lines in Stone town centre tonight.
