A 17-year-old boy was arrested after being stopped by police officers in a North Staffordshire town.
The teen was pulled over shortly before 4pm yesterday (January 13) in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area.
He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving following a short police chase through the streets of North Staffordshire.
Another man was also arrested at the scene.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Officers were led on a short pursuit after spotting a car without insurance in the Newcastle area shortly before 4pm on Wednesday 13 January.
“A 17-year-old from Hartshill was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without insurance and driving without a license.
“He’s since been released under investigation. A second man – arrested on suspicion of theft – has been released from custody with no further action to be taken.”
