A teenage passenger on a motorbike has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car.
Paramedics attended and treated the teenage boy for minor injuries before transporting him to hospital as a precaution.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to Hanley Road, Smallthorne, at 6.47pm yesterday to reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike.
“Two ambulances were sent to the scene, where we treated two patients.
“One was a teenage male, who was travelling as a passenger on the motorbike. He was treated for injuries not believed to be serious, but was taken to the Royal Stoke University as a precaution.
“We also assessed a female toddler from the car, but she was uninjured and and discharged at the scene.”
Staffordshire Police yesterday confirmed no arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
