Three areas of Moorlands with three or more Covid-19 cases in seven days

It is the first time more than two areas of the district have appeared on the rolling seven-day update

Three areas of the Staffordshire Moorlands had three or more coronavirus confirmed in seven days – according to the latest rolling update.

The figures, which now cover the period between Wednesday September 2 and Tuesday September 8, show Biddulph Central appear on the map for the first time.

The data – which updates daily – divides the country into ‘middle super output areas’ (MSOA), which have similar populations of around 7,200 people.

Although other MSOAs in the area may have had cases only areas with three or more confirmed Covid-19 cases between those dates are highlighted.

Larger maps of both MSOAs are below (note the dots only indicate there have been deaths with the virus in that area since the start of the pandemic and not locations of deaths or confirmed cases).
