Three arrested after police officers raid houses in Stoke-on-Trent



Three people have been arrested after police officers struck properties in two parts of Stoke-on-Trent.

The Staffordshire Police Tactical Support Team along with officers from the local neighbourhood units raided properties in Fenton and Blurton earlier today (August 22).

They discovered a ‘significant’ amount of what is believed to be class B drugs as well as cash.

Three people – who have not been identified – were arrested during the raids.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Police Officers from Stoke South Neighbourhood Action team together with Tactical Support officers have today executed warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act in Fenton and Blurton.

“Significant amount of Class B drugs and cash recovered & three individuals currently in custody.”
