Thieves swiped power tools and batteries from a van parked on a Stoke-on-Trent street.
Police officers were called to Essington Way in Tunstall on December 5 after reports three people broke into a van overnight.
They have now released an appeal.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “On December 4, three unknown offenders have broken into a van on Essington Way.
“They have stolen battery drills, batteries and chargers valued at £400.
“If you have seen anything suspicious or have CCTV please call Staffordshire Police.”
