There weren’t too many objections when Stoke City actively tried to cut short Scott Hogan’s season-long loan in January.
And they succeeded when he returned briefly to Aston Villa before immediately shipping out to near neighbours Birmingham.
The world hardly held its breath, but Hogan has since rediscovered his mojo in front of goal and tops the table of minutes per goals in the Championship.
Having scored just three in four starts plus nine sub appearances in the league for Stoke during the first half of the campaign, since moving to St Andrews he’s bagged seven in eight starts.
The table below sees one Stoke player squeeze into the top-13, however, thanks to Tyrese Campbell’s emergence in the absence of Hogan at the bet365.
Campbell’s run of six goals in 11 Championship appearances since Boxing Day leaves him with a record of one goal every 165.9 minutes this season… so far!
