Children’s toys, a car seat, and even festive gift bags have been dumped in a South Cheshire lay-by.
Community police officers from Haslington were called to Maw Lane in the village yesterday (January 6) to reports household waste had been dumped in a lay-by.
Officers attended and found the children’s items along with gift bags with the kid’s names left at the side of the road.
They have now taken to social media in a bid to ‘shame’ those involved.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “It is upsetting to see that someone believed to have a young child has fly-tipped toys, a car seat, gift bags with their children’s names and other household items next to a lay-by by our skate park.
“We hope that those responsible read this and feel the shame.”
