Two men have been arrested after police found a car stolen in Staffordshire at a service station on the M1.
North Warwickshire Police officers from the Rugby area made the arrest earlier today at the Watford Gap service station.
The officers were able to track the vehicle after it passed through Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras while heading south on the M6.
Of the two men taken into custody, one was found to be wanted on a warrant from magistrates in Boston, Lincolnshire.
A Warwickshire Police spokesman said: “Two males arrested in a car stolen from Staffordshire area having passed through ANPR cameras on the M6.
“They were located by Rugby cops at the Watford Gap services on the M1. One male wanted on warrant for Boston magistrates.”
