Two more coronavirus deaths have been recorded across the University Hospitals of North Midlands in the past 24 hours.
There has been no increase in deaths at the North Staffordshire Combined Trust – which includes the Harplands Hospital. The figure remains at six.
Eleven people have died at the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust – which operates Haywood Hospital, Cheadle Community Hospital, Leek Moorlands Hospital and Bradwell Community Hospital among others. This figure has not increased in the past 96 hours.
At the Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust, which includes Crewe’s Leighton Hospital, 196 people have now died – an increase of one from yesterday’s figure.
At the East Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust – which looks after Congleton War Memorial Hospital and Macclesfield District General Hospital – the number of deaths has increased to 124.
Nationally, the UK death toll now stands at 41,279.
The number of new UK cases in the past 24 hours is 1,266.
