‘Unbelievable’ – Ex-Stoke City captain and boss relays message from Boris Johnson

Chris Kamara took a Prime Ministerial stance as he urged everyone to obey the UK lockdown and protect the NHS.

The former Stoke City skipper and manager turned popular Sky Sports pundit told his legion of followers on Twitter ‘do not adjust your set’ as he delivered a message to camera from his front room.

And amid a serious delivery, he still managed to slip in his famous catchphrase.

“It’s Kammy here relaying a message from Her Majesty’s Government,” he said.

“I think we all realise by now that this coronavirus is more serious than we ever imagined.

“Believe me when I say we all have our part to play going forward in not only protecting ourselves and our loved ones but also other people too.

“Whether you have the symptoms or not, you really will help save lives by staying in at home.

“Come on, we can watch our favourite TV and we can even work out at the same time!

“But if you do go out, social distancing is so important – keep two metres apart from other people and make sure you avoid non-essential contact.

“And then – and only then – it becomes so much harder for this virus to spread.

“Please make sure you regularly wash your hands for 20 seconds or more using soap and water.

“These are unbelievable circumstances so stay home. We really need to protect our National Health Service that is already working above and beyond.”
