The car has now been seized.

A Staffs Police RPU spokesman said: “This driver’s 1st mistake was to park on the zig zagged area of a crossing in the Stafford Area.

“His second mistake was to lie like a cheap watch and give false details. His story fell apart soon after, no licence or insurance.

“Another car for crusher!.”
