The latest player linked with a move to Stoke City is Hamilton defender Scott McMann.
According to reports north of the border, the Potters are one of three clubs interested in signing the 23-year-old left-back
Wigan Athletic and Preston North End have also been credited with an interest in McMann, who has made 34 appearances in all competitions for Hamilton this term.
Stoke would fancy their chances of beating Wigan to the trigger, but would find Preston tougher competition.
For Preston boss Alex Neil gave McMann his senior debut when he was Hamilton manager.

Clubs: McMann came through the youth ranks at Hamilton, and had a brief loan spell at Clyde in 2016.
He was awarded his first-team debut at Hamilton as a 16-year-old in April 2013, where he played the full 90 minutes in a goalless draw Livingston in the Scottish Championship.
By the numbers: In his relatively short career, McMann has amassed 139 appearances for Hamilton, chipping in with two goals from defence.
He had to wait until January this yet to bag his first professional goal which came in a 5-0 win over Edinburgh City in the Scottish FA Cup.
International caps: McGinn is eligible to play for Scotland, but is yet to feature for the senior team in his career.
He has two youth caps to his name at Under-16 and Under-17 level, with both coming back in 2012.
