A woman remains in hospital after being seriously injured in a collision with a car.
The 20-year-old pedestrian was involved in a crash with a a red Ford Fiesta.
An air ambulance landed at a nearby park before flying her to hospital.
The driver stopped at the scene and is helping police as an investigation gets unerway.
No arrests have been made.
Now officers are appealing for witnesses following the smash, which happened in Wistaston Road, Crewe, at around 2.25pm on Sunday (March 1).
As a result of the crash, the road was closed for around two hours.
A Cheshire Police said: “At around 2.25pm on Sunday 1 March, officers were called following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a red Ford Fiesta on Wistaston Road.
“The female pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
“The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.
“A road closure was in place for around two hours.”
