A biker in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy Stoke-on-Trent road.
Paramedics were called to Ford Green Road, close to the Community Drive junction in Smallthorne , at 8.20am this morning (February 28).
A man was treated before being taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital .
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called at 8:20am to reports of a collision involving a car and motorbike on Ford Green Road in Stoke on Trent. One ambulance attended the scene.
“We’ve treated one patient, a man who was the motorcyclist, for minor injuries.
“He’s been taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment.”
A Staffordshire Police spokesman added: “We were called at 8:30 this morning (Friday 28 February) by our colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service to reports of an RTC between a motorbike and a taxi on Ford Green Road in Stoke-on-Trent.
“A man in his 20s was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital with minor injuries.
