Entrepreneur Sarah Willingham, best known for her appearances on Dragon’s Den, has publicly thanked the people of Stoke-on-Trent for looking after her mum during the coronavirus.
Sarah, who is originally from North Staffordshire, took to Twitter to thank people.
She wrote: “People in #stoke, local people on Facebook, helping my mum out with trips to the supermarket and pharmacy. THANK YOU!!!! such incredible stories of kindness and helping others out.”
Sarah, who now lives in London with her husband and their children, regularly comes back to Stoke-on-Trent to see her friends and family.
Four years ago she was named one of The Sunday Times ‘ ‘ 500 Most Influential people in Britain and a year later she received an honorary doctorate from Staffordshire University.
