Every free agent in the Championship for Stoke City to consider as Derby County announce final retained list

Stoke City have a long list of free agents to study as all Championship clubs have now announced their retained list for next season.

Derby County became the last club to confirm who is staying and going or in talks, including the three won won promotion to the Premier League, the three who were relegated to the Championship, the three heading into League One and the three coming up.

Wayne Rooney has let five senior players leave, including Scott Carson – who has been on loan at Manchester City, while they are in talks with players including Martyn Waghorn and Andre Wisdom.

It is a strange transfer window for clubs across the division and it remains to be seen just how much the pandemic has turned the market on its head.

But with Financial Fair Play tightening everyone’s belts, there will be a rush for the best free agents.
