Firefighters called to Stoke-on-Trent shed fire



Fire crews were called to a shed fire this morning.

Crews from Longton and Hanley were called to Havilland Place, in Meir, shortly after 3am today (June 14).

It was deemed to have started accidentally.

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews from Longton and Hanley were called shortly after 3am. Breathing apparatus and hose reel jets were used to extinguish it. The fire was caused by accidental ignition.”
