Holding hands – Stoke City fans choose their favourite Charlie Adam moment

Charlie Adam had been due to line up against Stoke City this weekend, albeit from the bench, until you-know-what intervened.

Heading into the fixture we asked you via our Facebook page to take a wee step back in time to choose your favourite Charlie moment.

There was quite a selection, including a day Manchester United will want to forget, and most eye-catching moment goes to Nathan Jones (not that one) and a big thanks to him for supplying the above photo to prove his point.

Here’s your replies…

Nathan Jones: My little girl on holiday from Australia and giving him the privilege of walking out with her and sharing the same taste in boots.

Sean Lewis: My best memory will always be he gave it is all, didnt back down and was a valued team player.

David Morris: His legs let him down in the last 3 years with us, but you could never question his commitment and football brain.

Mark Frost: His goal at Chelsea goal of the season without a doubt.

In she goes… on arguably his best day for Stoke, Charlie Adam scores one of his two goals to beat Manchester United in February 2014

Chiraag Gokal: I could toss a coin between the winner vs Man United or West Brom in 2014. Two very significant and beautifully struck goals.

Leon Jenks: The goal at Chelsea…. has to be.

Wez: Got be that goal against Chelsea?

Liam Pritchard: When he fell over taking a corner (at Burnley).

Andrew Rushton: Goals against Man United and in the 6-1 against Liverpool. Was on the decline for 3 years at Stoke, though, so no surprise he’s been phased out at Reading.

Andy Birch-Machin: His last game.
