Man suffers ‘serious injuries’ after violent brawl in Stoke-on-Trent town centre

A 30-year-old man suffered ‘serious facial injuries’ after a violent brawl broke out in a Stoke-on-Trent town centre.

Police officers were called to a mass brawl outside the Georgia Browns pub in Stoke at 1am on Saturday November 30 last year.

Two groups of men were fighting and a 30-year-old suffered serious facial injuries.

Staffordshire Police has today (March 2) released CCTV of nine men officers want to speak to following the incident.

A spokesman said: “Officers arrested a 25-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent on suspicion of assault GBH with intent.

“He was released under investigation.

“Two other men have been voluntarily interviewed in connection with the offence.

“Inquiries are on-going, and detectives are keen to trace the men captured on CCTV as they may be able to help with the investigation.”
