A man was taken to hospital after a tree fell on a taxi.
Emergency services were called to the A525 Keele Road, Keele, at around 10.56pm last night following the incident.
The driver was able to free himself from the car, but was still taken to hospital by paramedics.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 10.56pm to reports a tree had fallen onto a vehicle.
“One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended and treated one man, the driver, who managed to self-extricate from the vehicle.
“He received treatment on scene for injuries not believed to be serious and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital.”
