Man who tested positive for Covid-19 dies at the Royal Stoke University Hospital



A man who had tested positive for  Covid-19 has died at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

In a statement released this afternoon, John Oxtoby, medical director at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust said: “Sadly, we can confirm that a patient who was being cared for at Royal Stoke University Hospital, and had tested positive for Covid-19, has died.

“The patient, 73, had underlying health conditions and died on Thursday, March 19.
