Motorway cops have arrested a driver who stopped on the M6 in a stolen supercar.
Officers spotted the Porsche 911 Turbo in one of the emergency refuge areas along the busy motorway.
The Central Motorway Policing Group (CMPG) who spotted the car believed it was stolen.
Sergeant Rob Powell, from the CMPG, said: “Excellent work by CMPG patrols.
“This Porsche 911 Turbo was spotted broken down in an Emergency Refuge Area on The M6.
The vehicle had earlier been reported stolen.
“We have found the driver suitable accommodation at our Custody Facility Porsche to be reunited with owner.”
