A North Staffordshire homeowner was left ‘unnerved’ after a man repeatedly rang their doorbell and crouched behind a car.
The woman lives in Cheadle Road, Forsbrook, was self-isolating due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic when the incident happened on Tuesday.
Police officers were then called to the property at around 10.30pm.
PCSO Alison Nowicki from Staffordshire Police, said: “On Tuesday April at approximately 10.30pm onwards, a male was seen to approach a property and continually ring the doorbell then hide.
“The resident who is isolating and feels unnerved by this, could not go out to the male but she could see him crouched down by her car.”
