Police are appealing for witnesses after mass disorder ended with two teenage boys in hospital.
Trouble erupted in the Church Street area of Audley on Friday night where around 30 youths had gathered.
A 16-year-old boy suffered a minor stab wound to his leg.
Another 16-year-old sustained what has been described as superficial injuries.
And a third boy, aged 15, ended up with a broken nose in the fracas.
Now officers have launched an appeal for witnesses.
A 20-year-old man, from Newcastle, who had been arrested was later released with no further action.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We were called at just after 10pm to reports of a group of teenage boys involved in an altercation on Church Street.
“Three teenage boys were injured – a 15-year-old received a broken nose, a 16-year-old with superficial injuries and a 16-year-old who received a small puncture wound to his shin.
“The two 16-year-olds were taken to hospital but were discharged the same evening.
“A 20-year-old man, from Newcastle, was arrested but he has been released no further action.”
