Police officers were called to a ‘woman in distress’ at a busy Stoke-on-Trent bus station.

Officers attended Hanley Bus Station in Lichfield Street shortly after 8.20pm yesterday (March 9).

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Police were called at 8.20pm last night to a report of a woman in distress at Hanley Bus Station on Lichfield St in Stoke-on-Trent.

“She was given appropriate advice and no further police action was required.”
