More than a dozen motorists have been caught breaking the speed limit on a busy road on the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire border.
Cheshire Police set up on the A34 in Church Lawton – governed by a 30mph limit – yesterday.
And during the operation a total of 17 vehicles were recorded exceeding the limit with the highest recorded being 46mph.
Local officers took to Twitter following Wednesday’s operation and said: “A reminder to all passing in rush hour that it’s 30mph.”
Offending motorists can usually expect details in the post of how the matter will be dealt with.
