Police have revealed they ‘recovered’ a car from a Stoke-on-Trent street following a ‘public order’ incident.
Officers were initially called to Plex Street in Tunstall at around 6pm yesterday (March 4) to reports a group had approached a property.
Armed police theN descended on Henry Street while a search was carried out in the local area.
Pictures from the scene showed a car being put on a recovery vehicle.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “As part of the inquiries officers also attended an address on Henry Street.
“As part of the investigation a car was also recovered.”
Police officers will now be patrolling the area while a marked car remained nearby this morning.
Chief Inspector Mark Barlow, commander of Stoke-on-Trent North Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Today our officers will continue to provide reassurance and visibility in the community as enquiries into the matter continue.”
