Police in a South Cheshire town have urged people only to shop for essential supplies and limit shopping trips to a maximum of two people from a household.
Officers in Crewe published a photo of the amount of vehicles parked at the town’s Morrisons supermarket this morning – after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced new social restrictions in a bid to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
The government has asked people to stay in their homes for the next three weeks – with a short list of restrictions – as the country gets to grip with the Covid-19 outbreak.

“This what greeted Crewe Problem Solving Team at Morrisons in Crewe this morning. Listen to the advice given, you will make a difference.
“Please stay at home. Protect the NHS and Save Lives.
“Pcso Probin has been to Tesco, Morrison’s & Asda advising only two shoppers rather than all the family, staff can only do so much, some people still think this doesn’t apply to them.”
