Xherdan Shaqiri could be on his way from Liverpool sooner rather than later according to one report yesterday.
That would be roughly two years after he was signed by Jurgen Klopp from Stoke City following relegation in the Potteries.
To this day, Shaqiri still triggers mixed emotions among Stoke fans, it seems, and here is what you have been saying on our Facebook page about this latest development which claims the Reds would want £28m for a player they bought for around £12m.
William Morgan: Shaqiri said I’m too good to play for Stoke he came he scored went to Liverpool hardly played end of.
Bill Minshall: Show pony. Technically brilliant, but only good as a back up in a quality squad. He did play well for Lambert though.
Adrian Gomm: If we didn’t put a sell-on clause in just goes to show our problems.
Aaron Poole: Big Shaq come back, you play week in week out, we sell Ince for 10 million and buy shaq for 12 million.
Antoni Sadula: Do we have a sell clause?
Lee Johnson: They only bought him because he was cheap.
Dave: Knowing Stoke, there will be no sell-on clause, £28 million seems a lot for a player struggling with injuries and has only played 3 games.
