Staffordshire Moorlands chip shop closed for two-week refurbishment

A chip shop in a Staffordshire Moorlands town has closed for a fortnight – while a refurbishment takes place.

George’s, on Broad Street, Leek, has today – Tuesday February 25 – announced it is shut for the next two weeks.

The windows at the shop are currently blanked out with a fence around the site.

In a statement online this morning the company said: “We’d like to let our customers know that our Leek restaurant will be closed from today for two weeks due to refurbishment.

“Thank you for your co-operation.”
