Stoke City fans hope club has dropped hint on away kit

If it wasn’t a hint, Stoke City‘s kit designers have been sent a message about what supporters would like to see from their new away kit.

Stoke have released the new home strip for next season but fans are having to be patient for details on away kit and training gear.

So every social media post the club is putting out at the moment is met with replies asking for details on when the new change strip will be announced or hit the shelves.

That included a nostalgia post on Twitter with a photograph of Paul Peschisolido scoring at Liverpool and “wheeling away at Anfield in the green and black stripes”.

Stoke have recently taken influence from previous away tops for new ones, including the purple number in 2018/19 that had a hint of the early mid-1990s under Lou Macari.

Supporters got in touch in hope that this could be a sign of what to expect on their travels in 2021/22.

One said: “I’m telling you right now, away kit better be green and black stripes.”

“Green and black away kit. Take my money now,” said another.

“That better be the new away kit,” said a third.

Peschisolido himself weighed in, saying: “Best away kit ever! In my opinion!”

One to note for the team at Macron – who have extended their partnership with Stoke until the summer of 2024 – whether it’s for next season or soon afterwards.
