Scotland striker Lawrence Shankland insists he’s not thinking about his future.
The 24-year-old goalscorer has been linked with Stoke City because of his impressive form for Dundee United and Scotland this season, scoring 29 goals in 35 matches.
He has fired his club to the top of the Scottish Championship – and is adamant his sole focus is winning the title and not his own future.
“It’s not something I’ve been thinking about,” he said, speaking to the BBC.
“We were kind of stuttering our way towards the title with a wee bit of drop in form and not picking up great results. That was my main focus – to get back to winning ways.
“Obviously this interruption has caused a wee bit of a delay to that. But hopefully when we eventually get back we can start well and get it won.”
