Reading have a number of injury issues ahead of Saturday’s clash with Stoke City.
The Royals have climbed the table in recent weeks with improved form, while Stoke have also enjoyed a better spell, and the two sides go head-to-head at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.
Like the Potters, Reading won on the weekend, beating Birmingham. In fact, they head into Saturday’s clash looking to make it three straight wins.
Though, they are not without their injuries.
The Royals are likely to be without as many as four players for their meeting with Michael O’Neill’s men, according to BerkshireLive.
Lucas Joao remains out with a hamstring injury having been sidelined since New Year’s Day.
Full-back Chris Gunter is also out having sat out since early February with a groin issue.
Meanwhile, Lucas Boye will continue to miss out with a hernia problem, and Tom McIntyre is unavailable with a foot injury which has seen him wear a protective boot in recent weeks.
There is some good news for the Royals, however, with Sam Baldock expected to return having missed the win over Birmingham with a calf strain.
Jordan Obita is also expected to return having sat out with swelling on his knee last time out.
