Rory Delap has been teasing former Stoke City team-mate Liam Lawrence with a rare bit of skill.
Delap has thrown down the gauntlet to Lawrence with a short video on Twitter taken in his back garden.
With what looks like one of his teenage sons gripping the cross bar of a goal with his hands and one of the uprights with his feet, Delap nonchalantly chips a ball through the small gap left between bar and post and into the top right-hand corner.
Though there is no way of knowing how many takes were needed – and the poor boy looks like he’s been hanging there for a while Rory.
Lawrence has seen the video and accepted the challenge by tweeting: “Tell you what I ain’t got, a garden that big pal… but since the challenge has been set I’ll get back to you… been telling people all along you couldn’t just throw it, some finish that.”
